It wasn't my intention to write 2 articles in a row according to music. But I would like to express my deep dissapointment about some recent break-ups in the UK.
These were:
The Rascals. Miles Kane - the trio's frontman- anounced his departure from the band at the very end of August. The critics said that their album wasn't good, but imho they made some really nice tunes. My fav one is the Freakbeat Phantom
The Rakes. I'd say they belong to the post-punk/indie-rock scene. The split was announced on the 22nd October :\ Check this: Open Book
And which is the third? I guess the reader (You :]) heard about Oasis. Well, the Gallagher brothers were able to handle their conflicts from 1991 till 2009. They reformed britpop in the mid 90's and made severel megahits, like Wonderwall, Stand By Me, Champagne Supernova and so on and so forth... Here it comes on of the killer tracks Fucking In The Bushes Yupp, it might be familiar from Snatch.
